In the Glass Industry, it is one of raw materials in the fusion mixture with sand, soda and potassium. Here it is one of lime ownerships, or rather, its ability to create solutions with silicatis. Forming a solution that doesn't crystallize, when it is cooled, it hardens itself in an amorphous, clear mix, and almost colourless, that is glass. Magnesium besides confers to it elasticity, that it would otherwise be very fragile. In Agriculture as soil conditioner is it used for neutralizing the vegetable ground acidity. Also, it is used in the Paintings, Ceramics Industry and other activities.
